Obituary of Joyce Elain Antes

Joyce E. Antes, 77, of Horseheads NY passed peacefully while receiving care at Guthrie Corning Hospital on May 30, 2024. Joyce was born November 30, 1946 to the late Russell and Lenora Antes of Southport NY, the family attended church at United Methodist. Joy graduated from Corning College with a Bachelor's degree. She lived in Horseheads for over 30 years, working for Weiler Mapping as a Tax Mapper. Joy loved to read, garden, and drink coffee, was a true friend to so many. Along with her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her brother Allen Antes. Surviving is her daughter Georgia Hayes; grandchildren Samantha Willsey, Todd Kellar Jr, Trinity Hayes, Tyler Hayes; great-grandsons Jace Welch and Lucah Depadua; brother Jim (Sue) Antes, and many other family members and close friends.
