Andrews, Brent

Age 67 of Lowman, NY. Brent was born October 21, 1956, growing up in Horseheads, the son of the late Harold and Shirley (Kole) Andrews. He passed away peacefully, having done it all his way, on the morning of Thursday, July 4th, 2024.

In addition to his parents Brent was predeceased by his brother Gary in 1988; his father & mother-in-law John & Helen Conkright; and his stepson Erik Franzese.

He is survived by his dear wife Debra (Conkright); children Colby Andrews, Cameron Andrews, and Carrie Adam; his grandchildren Blake, Destiny, and Gemma Andrews, London Andrews, Madison, Skyler, and Gavin Adam; as well as his nephew Schuyler Andrews; with many lifelong friends and his extended family.

Brent will be remembered as a man who firmly loved his family, taking pride in and enjoying time with his grandchildren. He was a craftsman who found a way to fix everything. His wood carving skills were shared as gifts for family, but his extensive skillset also built his first house. Brent retired from work at Robert Packer Hospital and was taken into the care of Bampa's House in Corning when his health demanded, for his final journey.

Family and friends are invited to visit the Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main St., in Horseheads, on Saturday, July 13th from 1pm to 3 pm. His memorial celebration will be held there at 3 pm. Private burial will be held with his family.
