Obituary of Susan Eastwood
In loving memory of Susan Lee Eastwood, born March 17th, 1957; she passed away peacefully in her sleep at Corning nursing facility at age 67 on November 9th, 2024
She was predeceased by her parents James and Charlotte Eastwood; her son Brian Richard Bohlayer Sr.; her brothers James and David Eastwood; sister Angela Faye Eastwood; and her boyfriend William Bill Demember
She is survived by her brothers Vincent (Elisa) Eastwood; Mike (Angie) Eastwood; sister Diane May; uncles John (Linda) Eastwood, Russell Eastwood; aunts Edith Frycek, Marion Gifford, Gloria (james) Barner; sons Paul and Brett Bohlayer; daughter in law Terri Bohlayer; grandkids Hailey (Donnie Eno) Born, Brianna Bohlayer and Brian Bohlayer Jr, Kendall Eastwood, Richard Bohlayer and Tyler Bohlayer; great grandchildren Gracelynn and Harold; and very special friends Carol and Jessica, along with many many extended family and dear friends.
Susan was the absolute best daughter mother, grandma, aunt, cousin -and so much more- in the whole world. She loved her family and friends with her whole heart. She loved horseracing, playing bingo, arts and crafts, and cooking - she loved her Pepsi and Fritos, and sweets. She took any opportunity to help people, being there for everyone whenever she could. Susan had the biggest heart and she was very loved and loved everyone; she will be forever missed and loved. She is with God, her son, and her family in Heaven - happy and at peace. Susans family wishes to offer their thanks and gratitude to the staff at the Corning Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare for the excellent care and support for Susan
Family and friends are invited to the Quackenbush Hill Baptist Church, 4371 College Ave, Corning, NY 14830 on Friday, November 22nd, 2024 where her service will be held at noon, with a Celebration of Life afterwards. Her burial will take place at a future date at the convenience of her family. Barber Funeral Home is assisting the Eastwood family.
