Obituary of Carole L. Holecek

Carole Holecek of Elmira Heights, NY passed away December 29, 2024 at 84 years old. Daughter of the late Leo and Katherine Ellis, she worked for 18 years as a caregiver. She worked for many wonderful families, and loved to spoil those in her care. Along with her parents, she was also predeceased by all her siblings and her son Randy who passed in 2016. Surviving are her children James, Tammy, Terry, Tracy, David, and Timmy; Step-daughter and close friend Shirley Kwasney; Granddaughter and best friend Ashley (Sean) Gabriel; as well as many beloved grand & great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Tonya, Kim, and Sandy for the great friendship and compassionate care they gave Carole, and Ruth for the many fun trips to the casino In accordance with her wishes there will be no formal calling hours or funeral. However, a celebration of life will be scheduled at the convenience of the family. Those wishing to honor Carole with a monetary donation may do so by donating to the Elmira Heights Fire Department or the Chemung County Humane Society.
