Obituary of Donald E. Fisher Jr.

FISHER, Donald E. Age 68 of Clark Rd. in Chemung passed away unexpectedly on June 30, 2011. Don was born June 29, 1943, in Elmira, NY to Donald Sr. and Betty (Anderson) Fisher. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sons, Duane in 1981, and Brian in 2004; Don is survived by his wife and best friend, Barbara (Kessler) Fisher; Brother, Robert (Diane) Fisher of Summers, AR; Nieces and nephews, Christy (Jamie) Blankenship with their children, Garrett and Chance; Step children, Daniel (Stojka) Ingrassia of Denver, CO with their daughter Alexandra; Christopher Ingrassia of Sayre, PA; Peter (Susan) Ingrassia also of Sayre, PA, with their son, Matthew and Katelynn; George Ingrassia and his children, Laura, Joseph and Nick; Close friends, Minnie (David) Deats. K-9 buddy “Willie” W. Axel Rose and Bandit. Don was a retired Teamster Local #529 and driver for Consolidated Freight in Big Flats. He and his wife also enjoyed the many miles traveled together on their Harley. Don loved family, friends and time spent with his wife at their home in Chemung, wandering around his land, fishing in the pond and traveling. He also enjoyed his daily social hour at the Horseheads Dunkin Donuts with the “Coffee Gang” Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S.
