MADISON, Douglas J. Age 57 of Horseheads passed away unexpectedly on Tues Dec. 13, 2011. Doug was born in Elmira NY on July 9, 1954 to Walter and Elizabeth (Drake) Madison; He was also predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth in 1994; Doug is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Healy) Madison; Daughters and son Sarah (Brett) Powell of Ithaca, NY, Doug (Ashleigh Sheets) Madison of Horseheads, NY, Amy (Bryan) Perry of Grand Island, NY; His father, Walter Madison of Horseheads, NY; Brothers and sisters, Walter Dean Madison, Larry Madison, Alan (Deborah) Madison, Diane Madison all of Horseheads, NY, Audrey (Paul) Wills of Elmira, NY and many nieces, nephews, co-workers and friends. Doug was member of Southern Light Lodge #725 F. & A.M.in Breesport, NY. He was also Past Master there in 1986. He was currently employed with the Eaton Corp and previously worked for Hardinge Inc. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and was a devoted NY Yankee fan. Along with being a baseball fan, Doug was also involved as a Little League Coach for several years. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St. Horseheads on Fri. Dec. 16, 2011 from 2-4:00 and 6-8:00 pm. A Liturgy of Christian Burial with be celebrated in St. Mary Our Church 816 W. Broad St. Horseheads on Sat. Dec. 17, 2011 at 10:00 am with the Rev. Christopher E. Linsler, Celebrant His burial service will also follow in St. Mary Our Mother Cemetery. Notice: Officers and members of Breesport Southern Light Lodge # 725 F. & A.M. will gather at the Barber Funeral Home on Friday evening at 7:45pm to conduct a memorial service for their departed brother.
