Obituary of David P. Dugliss

DUGLISS, David Peter Age 59 of Wisteria Way in Horseheads, NY was set free from a long illness on Tuesday July 10, 2012 and is now at peace. Dave was born Jan. 25, 1953 in Flushing, NY, to Jeanne (Hogg) Dugliss-Helfman and Donald Dugliss. He is survived by his wife, Janice (Thiele) Dugliss Daughters, Amy (Mike Fiorentino) Dugliss of Syracuse, NY, Melanie (Shaun Peden) Dugliss of Horseheads, NY, Valerie (Neil Folnsbee) Dugliss Folnsbee of Horseheads, NY, Grandchildren Oni, Tatiana, Teagan, Maeson, Brother, John Dugliss of White River Junction, VT. Uncle Peter Hogg of Berlin, VT; Mother-in-law, Florence Thiele of Horseheads, NY and Sister-in-law Sue Nitschke of Horseheads, NY Nephews Justin DiStefano of West Virginia Matthew (Elizabeth) DiStefano of West Virginia Also surviving - a Team of Angels posing as friends who have stuck by Dave's side every step of the way. Special animal friends - Grand-dog Hannah and Grand-bunny Francisco. Dave was a retired special education teacher with the Elmira Psychiatric Center. He was a man of family, faith, fun and friends. A celebration to honor Dave will take place at Park Station in the fall at a time and date to be announced.
