DEKOSCHAK Mary (Dudyak) Dekoschak, age 84, of Halloran Dr., Breesport, died peacefully December 26, 2012 at her home, the pride and joy of she and husband, Paul, who predeceased her Nov 2011. Born May 3, 1928, to Veronica and Michael Dudyak, Auburn, NY, and married to Paul; 63 years homemaker preceded in death by brothers John and Joseph (WWII Italy). She is survived by daughter, Claudia (Kevin) Bailey of Kalispell, MT; son, Joseph Dekoschak of Waverly, NY; grandchildren, Paul Bailey and Elizabeth (Scott) Smith; great-grandchildren, Hannah May and Bailey Aria Smith; sister Olga and Charlie Adams of Auburn, NY; several nieces and nephews. Mary was a homemaker, Girl Scout (Brownie) leader, Polling place worker, and participated in church events. She was a member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Christian Church in Elmira Heights, NY. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main St., Horseheads, on Monday January 7, 2013 from 4-7:00 p.m. Memorial service (Panahida) there at 6:30 p.m. Her funeral service will take place in Holy Trinity Orthodox Christian Church, 137-139 Horseheads Blvd., Elmira Heights, NY on Tuesday Jan. 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., with committal prayers to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads, followed by get together celebration of Mary's life at Elks, Elmira.
