Obituary of Miriam M. McLaud

Miriam M. McLaud Age 93 of West Hill Road in Elmira and formerly a longtime resident on Coleman Avenue passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, November 17, 2012. She was predeceased by her husband, O. Wayne McLaud in 2001 and is survived by her son, Lawrence McLaud of Silver City, NM; grandchildren, Sara (Rick) Sherman, Douglas (Erin) McLaud, Christopher (Jennifer) McLaud, Richard and Meaghan McLaud; great grandchildren, William, Charles and Edmund Sherman, David, Allison, Madison, Taylor, Ashley and Joshua McLaud; daughters-in-law, Virginia (Tom) Yost of Keuka Park, NY, Alberta (Kurt) Synnestvedt of Canton, MI, and Cheryl McLaud of Bloomington, MN and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Mim was also predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Clara (Sickles) Miller; sons, David and Bruce McLaud; sister, Lavinia Bickell; and brother Rupert Miller. Mim and her husband were former proprietors of Elmira Burial Case and members of Grace Episcopal Church. Mim and her sister, Binnie attended Elmira College. Family and friends are invited to call at Grace Episcopal Church on Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. Her service will follow at 12:00 noon.
