CADEK, Arthur H. Jr. Age 66 of York PA and a longtime resident of Elmira Heights, NY passed away after a brief illness on May 16, 2013. He was born on Elmira to Arthur and Grace (Wood) Cadek Sr. His surviving family includes his son, Jamie (Roberta) Cadek of Elmira, NY, Step-daughter, Tina (Jim) Condon of Erin, NY, Step son, Jeffrey (Pam) Miles of Chemung, NY; Dear friend and former spouse, Linda Cadek of Elmira Heights, NY; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; Brother,. John Cadek of York, PA; and Sister, Linda (Jack) Peckally of West Elmira, NY; and several nieces and nephews.He was a veteran of the US Army and a former police officer with the Elmira City Police Department. Later in his career he worked as a property manager for several Elmira Apartment companies including St. Patrick’s, GHC, Travers and the Green Team. In his spare time he loved a round of golf and company with good friends. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St., Horseheads on Tues.
