Obituary of Gayle Doyle

Gayle D. Doyle Age 71 of Grand Central Avenue in Horseheads passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Gayle was born in Elmira to the late Alton and Esther (Bricker) Hooker. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Mark Doyle; sons, Steven (Bonnie) Butts of Breesport, Greg (Barbie) Butts of Elmira, Diane Yusko of Chambersburg, PA, Doug (Dawn Weisberg) Butts of Elmira Heights; grandchildren, Kimberly, Jessie, Penny, Lisa, Matt, Danielle, Brian, Lacie, Tia and families; several other extended family, including cousin, Carol (Larry) Campbell. Gayle worked at the Elmira Heights School District as a teacher’s aide. She also worked for several area families as a cleaner. She attended Southside Alliance Church. Gayle enjoyed music and continued to play the violin. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home, 413 South Main Street, Horseheads on Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 4-6:00 pm.
