Obituary of Frank Stranzl

STRANZL, Francis J. Jr. “Frank” Age 72 of Wolcott Dr. Big Flats passed away Mon Sept. 2, 2013 after a very brief illness. Frank was born Dec. 8, 1940 in Bronx, NY to Francis and Helen (Lanning) Stranzl Sr. Frank is survived by his wife, Sandra (Wieder) Stranzl; Daughters and son Dawn Brewer of Elmira, NY Donna (Tim)Bell of Elbridge, NY Frank Stranzl of Horsheads; Frank is also survived by Sandra’s children, Jolene (Jeff) Simmons of Ithaca, Terri (Jeff) Standish of Breesport, Rich (Abby) Fluman, Lisa (Geoff) Hartigan all of Horseheads, And Linda (Dave) Friebis of Elmira Heights; 12 Grandchildren, one great grandchild; Sister, Diane Stranzl of Lanoka Harbor, NJ. Franks was a retired police officer with the Village of Horseheads. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving aboard the USS Enterprise. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and the outdoors.
