Obituary of Gregory Klub

KLUB, Gregory E. Age 23 of Erin passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013. He was born in Elmira, Oct. 10, 1989 to Michael and Tammi (Baldwin) Klub. Greg was predeceased by his father, Michael and is survived by his parents, Tammi and David Loper of Erin; daughter, Kendall Klub of Elmira; sisters and brother, Abbi and Alex Loper of Erin and Catherine Klub of Elmira; grandparents, Edward and Verna Baldwin of Elmira, Ruth Klub of Cannonsburg, PA, Dave and Sandy Loper of Lindley; and longtime love and best friend Alyssa Lepkowski of Horseheads. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of caring friends. In addition to his father, Greg was also predeceased by his grandfather, Thaddeus Klub. Greg was employed at Southern Tier Logistics in Painted Post. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dirt bikes, 4- wheelers and all the outdoors had to offer. He was a NY Yankees and Dallas Cowboys fan. Greg also enjoyed baseball, hockey, bonfires with family and time spent with friends. Quoted by his sister, Abbi “You’re the funniest guy I know and you are so loved by so many people.” He also enjoyed watching his brother, Alex play hockey. Greg brought joy and laughter to all those who knew him Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main St., Horseheads on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013 from 10:00 am-12:00 noon and again from 3-4:30 p.m. His service will be celebrated at the conclusion of calling hours at 4:30 pm. with family friend and pastor, The Rev. William Vallet officiating. Burial service will take place on Monday in St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery at 10:00 am.
