Obituary of Edward Loop

LOOP, Edward Age 95 of Horseheads passed away Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013. He was predeceased by his wife, Edith in 2005 and is survived by dear friend, Gloria Foster of Elmira with her children, Jodi (David) Miller, Deana Roman, Jamie Roman and Tammy (Duane) Manchester all of Lowman and Wesley Roman of Elmira; sister-in-law, June (Jack) Whitaker of Horseheads; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Ed was a veteran of the US Army and retired from Brockway Motors in Horseheads as parts manager. In his earlier years Ed was a bartender at Jackie’s Midway and also drove truck. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main St., Horseheads on Tues., Dec. 31, 2013 from 10:00-12:00 noon. His service will take place there at 12:00 noon. The Rev. Richard Hubbard will officiate. Burial service will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
