Obituary of Ernest Albera

ALBERA, Ernest C. WWII US Army Veteran Age 94 of Trinity FL and formerly a longtime resident of Horseheads passed away Feb. 19, 2014. Ernie was born in NYC, NY to Carlo and Olivia Albera. He was a retired postal carrier in Manhattan and re located to Horseheads after his retirement. Ernie was predeceased by his wife Johanna in 2002 and is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Gail (Dr. Naveed) Saddiqi of Trinity, FL; Grandsons, Dr. Farhan (Susan) Siddiqi also of Trinity, FL and Aman Siddiqi of Philadelphia, PA. Also surviving are many friend at the IAV in Elmira where he was a bartender for several years. Family and friends are invited to attend his graveside service on Saturday Mar. 8, 2014 at 11:00 am in Maple Grove Cemetery , Broad St. Horseheads where military honors will also be accorded.
