Obituary of Geraldine R. Tressler

TRESSLER, Geraldine R. Age 97 and long time resident of Elmira Heights, Florida and Horseheads passed away Sun., Sept. 14, 2014. Geraldine was predeceased by her husband, Floyd in 1993; son, Floyd in 2002; and sister, Alberta Hance. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Swain of Bemus Point, NY; son and daughter-in-law, Larry (Carol) Tressler of Horseheads, NY; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Tressler also of Horseheads, NY; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; very dear sister-in-law, Mary Rita Tressler; several nieces and nephews. Geraldine was a member of Oakwood United Methodist Church, devoted homemaker who also assisted her family at Tressler Grocery Store in Elmira Heights. Burial service with the Barber Funeral Home in Horseheads took place privately.
