Obituary of Thomas G. Nybeck

NYBECK, Thomas G. Age 78 of South Ave in Horseheads passed away after a lengthy illness Fri. Jan 30, 2015. Tom was born in Elmira, NY, to the late Bessie (Lovell) and Harvey Nybeck. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Ruth (Garrett) Nybeck; sons and daughter, Tom (Lisa) Nybeck of Bath, NY, Rebecca (Bruce) Dobson of Millport, NY, Scott (Kim) Nybeck of Niagara Falls, NY and Paul (Debra) Nybeck of Buckeye, AZ; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tom was predeceased by his brother, Harvey Nybeck Jr. Tom retired from Black and Decker as a machinist. He was a life member of the Chemung Co. Rod & Gun Club who loved shooting Skeet and Trap. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main St., Horseheads on Wed. Feb. 4, 2015 from 2-4:00 and 6-8:00. A celebration of the Eucharist will take place in St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 408 South Main Street, Horseheads on Thurs at 10:30am. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
