Obituary of Debi L. Rampulla

RAMPULLA, Debi L. (Miller) age 45 of Horseheads went to be with the Lord Sunday June 13, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. Debi was the youngest daughter of Richard and Audrey (Button) Miller. She is survived by her sons, Ryan Bullock of Owego and Zane Rampulla of Painted Post; father, Dick Miller of Horseheads; sister, Dona Ruger also of Horseheads; brothers, Ronald Miller of Elmira, Richard (Lisa) Miller of Wayne, NJ; half-sister, Sharon (Phil) Brown of Gillett, PA; half-brother, Gary Von Shondorf of Florida. Also survived by special aunt, Lou Miller of Cayuta, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and life long friends, Michelle Gualillo-Sigmon, Elaine Root-Game, Kimberly Washborn, Tina Wheeler, Billy Cook and Ardie Tuttle; also former spouses, Dick Bullock and Dave Rampulla. She was also predeceased by her infant son, Joseph in 1998; mother, Audrey Miller in 2001; brother-in-law, Tim Ruger in 2008; and many friends including best friend, Brian Fisher, Eric Gilbert, Billy Moffett, Ed Brown and many more. Debi graduated in the Class of 1982 from Horseheads High School. She attended Seminole College in Lake Mary, FL, Corning Community College and EBI. Debi worked in the food service and beverage industry most of her life from management, bartender to server. She loved being on the road, traveling from state to state meeting new people. She loved Riding motorcycles and going to NASCAR races. She is now riding the friendly skies seeing what she may have missed here. She wanted everyone to know that even though her age was young, she lived to be 110 years old. She wishes she could have stayed longer but she had no regrets. Her wish is to tell everybody you love them every day. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St., Horseheads today June 15, 2010 from 5-8:00 pm. her service will take place there at the funeral home on Wed. at 10:00 am with interment to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
