Obituary of Linda L. Nichols

NICHOLS, Linda L. age 58 of Camden Ave. Horseheads passed away after a brief but courageous battle on Tues. June 29, 2010 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Earl and Shirley (Wandell) Wood. She is survived by her husband, William Nichols; sister and brothers; Diane (George Wheeler) Spencer of Tioga, PA, Larry (Joyce) Wood, Thomas (Judy) Wood, David (Carol) Wood all of Horseheads and Stephen (Beth) Wood of Elmira, NY; several nieces, nephews and many neighbors, church family and friends. Linda was a devoted member of the love Church in Horseheads. She enjoyed shopping, crafts and the company of people. Linda was a devoted wife, caring sister and special friends to many. She had a smile for everyone and always a kind word and expression of love for all. She will be missed by those whose lives she touched. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St. Horseheads on Thurs. July 1, 2010 from 3-5:00 pm where her service will follow calling hours at 5:00 pm.
