Obituary of Shirley L. Campbell

CAMPBELL, Shirley L. Age 82 of Watkins Rd. Pine Valley passed away Tues. Aug. 10, 2010 at the Manor at Bethany Village. Shirley was born Aug. 4, 1928 in Elmira, NY a daughter to the late Allen and Amber (Clyne) Weeks. She is survived by her daughters and sons, Barbara Kinsman of Horseheads, NY Terri (Wes) McNett of Roaring Branch, PA L. Steven Campbell of Philadelphia, PA Scott Campbell of Reeders, PA and Mitchell (Sue) Campbell; ten grandchildren sisters and brothers, Alberta Keck of Galeton, PA, Mary Hendricks of Pine Valley, NY, Richard (Sally) Weeks of Virginia, Lew Weeks of Idaho, and several nieces and nephews. she was predeceased by grandson, Dustin McNett Shirley was a loving mother and devoted grandmother. She was a caring nurse employed at Elcor Health Service Center in Horseheads for 28 years. Shirley had a true fondness for co-workers and patients. She possessed a forgiving and kind nature. She also enjoyed gambling trips with her “bus buddies.” Mom made the best fudge ever. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
