Obituary of Mark F. Wagner

Mark F. Wagner passed away on January 15, 2021 at Sitrin Neuro Care in Utica NY at the mercy of Huntington’s disease at the age of 61. Born in Elmira NY on March 2, 1959, Mark graduated from Horseheads High School in 1978. He went to work for Swift Glass Company as part of the Capstone Program through BOCES in 1977. He was a very dedicated, hard-working employee for nearly 35 years. Having a passion for motorcycles, Mark was a very successful Amateur MX racer. He loved doing tricks with dirt bikes and enjoyed rides on road bikes later in life. He and his Dad spent a lot of time at the family garage fixing up bikes, vans, trucks and many lawnmowers. Throughout his life, he also enjoyed hobbies of gun collecting, hunting, CB/amateur radios and jet skiing. Mark was unendingly proud of his son, Chris that he and his ex-wife Beth Northrop shared. He was a devoted father who did his absolute best to support and provide for him with everything that he could. Mark is predeceased by his parents Barbara (Bateman) and Fred Wagner, his brother Gary Wagner and a very special cat Tigger. He leaves behind his son, Christopher Wagner, and many good friends from over the years. A special thank you to Tammy Paul that helped for Mark in his last years. It took years for him to remember your name but he sure did smile when we reminded him. You treated him special every day and always made sure he had his Coca-Cola. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A celebration of life will be set by the family at a future date.
