Obituary of Patrick James Hannan

Age 73, of Elmira NY. Pat passed away on Thursday January 28th, 2021, after an extended illness. He was born October 16, 1947 in Elmira NY, but grew up in Watkins Glen NY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Clarabelle Hannan; and his brother Michael Hannan. Pat served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked in retail management for a number of years including J.J. Newberry’s in downtown Elmira, and later Family Dollar Stores in the Elmira area. Pat is survived by his wife of 18 years, LuAnn (Johnson) Hannan; his sons, their spouses, and children, Brian (Beulah) of Mexico NY, Shaun (Rae) of Longmont CO, Patrick (Adrienne) with children Patrick (Riker) and Isabelle of Ashburn VA, Ryan (Alaura) with children Madelinn and Elliot of Elmira NY; mother of his children Patricia (Ketter) Hannan of Elmira NY; his sisters and their spouses, Deena (Keith) Erni of Louisiana, Penny (Paul) Rosenfield of California, Maureen (Jim) Palcos of Ohio; along with several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Dauphine and all of the staff at the Faulk Cancer Center in Elmira NY.
