My thoughts and prayers to the Neubauer Family.
I had the opportunity to work in the same department with Dean these past three years and got to chat about his trips to Hawaii and his grandchildren.
I will miss seeing him in Decker and sitting in his office to catch up with what's going with life, projects and his training classes.

My Thoughts and Prayers out to Neubauer Family.... God Bless them all
I have known Dean and his family for more than 30 years....we both moved our families to Harrodsburg Kentucky in the late 80s and had a wonderful experience together. As an Engineering Fellow Dean was recognized as our best of the best and he was truly that...Best of the Best. I will miss seeing him in the Decker Building.
Tom Capek - Chief Engineering @ Corning.

I worked with Dean for most of his career. He was a very talented statistical engineer and data analyst, who supported most of corning’s businesses, including research and development. He also taught and encouraged younger engineers and statisticians at both Corning and as an adjunct professor of statistics at Rochester Institute of Technology. He was recognized for his accomplishments by being named an engineering fellow at Corning - the first statistical engineer to be so recognized - and being named a fellow of the American Statistical Association. He will be missed by many. My sympathies to his family.

I was truly saddened to hear of Deans passing, I worked with Dean on several glass melting issues and R&D projects over my 30 plus years with Corning. Dean was a true champion in his field of statistics and a mentor to younger engineers for his entire career. Dean was a true professional in every sense and was respectful to all he worked with. I also enjoyed our non-working conversations about our families and life in general. I did not realize until just the past few years that Dean was a brother in law to our dear friend Beth, I always relayed to Beth my fondness and respect for Dean for the years that I had worked with him. My sympathies to his wife Kimberly, his two sons and daughter, and to his entire family. May God bless them all.
