We are heartbroken over the passing of Richard. Richard Knapp will be cherished and is remembered fondly by our family. We are sorry that distance has kept us from being there at his services. From the moment Richard and Louise joined our Old Hickory Stompers clogging dance group they instantly became part of our family. Richard danced his heart out for many years, traveled with us all over the United States, attended dance conventions, competitions, cruises, he even competed against some of the best cloggers in the world and won major awards! Richard and Louise always welcomed us into their home for holiday parties, pool parties, garage and driveway dance practices. Richard could always be found in the middle of the dancing action! He truly was one of our best friends! Richard will be missed beyond measure, memory after memory come to mind at just the mention of his name. It feels as though a piece of our clogging family is now missing. Rest in peace dear Richard, we love you, and we keep Louise and all your family in our prayers, may God comfort them during this time of loss.
