Mary, Mary, I am crying with you !!! I know it''s a little late, but I just found out yesterday (11/06/12) of ""Bubber''s"" death, in the Taps section of the FRA monthly magazine. As you may remember, Bubber and I roomed together at the NavHosp, Portsmouth. What a neat and good guy. We had fun, driving (or ""cruisin''"") around Portsmouth in his Olds. That goes back aways, but what fond memories ! and for you too, right ?.
The next time I saw Glenn, was in 1960 along the water parking in San Diego.
Joyce and I were parked (someplace) and I was in the trunk looking for something, when some crazy guy comes up and slaps me in the back, practically
driving me into the trunk. And who else but the ""Bubber""!! haha I don''t recall much between that episode and 24 Sep 1960, up in Anaheim, where ""the Bubber"" stood up as my Best Man (indeed!!!!) at Joyce and my wedding.
Mary, David and Glenn Jr., I am truley sorry for your loss!!!! Isn''t is funny: here it is 52 years later, and I cry for you and ""Bubber""!! I too loved Glenn!
